How to get to the Foundation

"Vis Maior" Foundation is located at Cieszkowskiego Street 1/3, apartment number 75, in Żoliborz, near Plac Wilsona (Wilsona Square).

  Buses run from Galeria Centrum on Marszałkowska Street (bus/tram stop Centrum heading towards Plac Bankowy ) to Słowackiego Street: 515 everyday and 409 on Sundays and holidays.

  From Nowy Świat Street and from the area where The Polish Association of the Blind's main headquarters is located (that is from Konwiktorska Street) there are buses 116 and 195.

  If one wants to come by tram, it is possible with line 15 from Okęcie (Grójecka, Centrum) heading towards Huta and number 36 from Puławska-wyścigi (Centrum) heading towards Mickiewicza-Potok. In both cases we get off at the second stop in Plac Wilsona (Wilsona Square). (ATTENTION!!! Both stops in Plac Wilsona are called "Plac Wilsona", you have to get off at the second one).

  One can also get to Plac Wilsona (Wilsona Square) by underground.

  When we get off the bus, we go back to an underpass. When we have gone down the stairs, we will be standing in a place where the exit from the underground is. We turn left, towards the exit to Słowackiego Street. At the end of the corridor on the left side there are stairs upwards (photo 1).

  While walking out of the underground station, head to the stairs or the lift:

  turn right from the stairs towards the exit to Słowackiego Street, at the end of the corridor on the left side there are stairs upwards (photo 1)

  walk out of the lift to the left.

  Next (while walking out of the bus or underground) we head straight towards previously mentioned Słowackiego Street (photo 2). The landmarks which we pass are: The Council of Żoliborz District first and next Merkury Department Store.

  We head towards Hala Marymoncka and the first small street on the right is Cieszkowskiego (photo 3). The Foundation is situated on the left side of the street and it is the first gate (apartment block number 1/3). When we get there, we choose number 75 on the intercom. (photo 4)

  After a long signal and words "the door is open" ("drzwi otwarte") you will be able to go to the courtyard.

  When we are in the courtyard, we go slightly to the right and straight and then we cross the courtyard. (photo 5)

  We look for staircase number 9. When we find it we press intercom number 75 again. (photo 6)

  When we are on a staircase we go downstairs. (photo 7)

  The door to the Foundation is slightly to the right, in front of us. (photo 8)
