How to become a "Vis Maior" volunteer?

Recruitment of candidates for volunteers comprises two stages:

Stage I - contacting us by phone or by filling in a recruitment questionnaire available below, and sending it to the e-mail address of Fundation:
biuro@fundacjavismaior.com

Stage II - an interview.

In what our volunteers can help?

They accompany disabled persons in a need of help with handling official matters, medical appointments, going for walks, shopping, going out to a swimming pool, going out to cultural and educational institutions. They also help in going for walks with a guide dog, familiarizing with a literature unavailable for persons with visual impairment, magazines, professional literature, acquiring audio books and Braille books. Moreover, they can offer help with carrying out daily activities which a disabled person cannot pursuit alone, despite rehabilitation or when rehabilitation has not been possible yet. They also offer help to partially sighted or blind mothers in taking care of their children, support parents in stimulating a development of blind children or children with multiple disabilities.

A volunteer helps and supports but he cannot be expected to do everything for you. He might be asked to do something but it is necessary to remember that what exactly he does depends on his will, so it is good when a voluntary work gives him pleasure.

Many of us is willing to help, it is good to learn such a form of helping which serves us as well as it serves another person.

Everyone, who decides on starting cooperation with our Foundation, is kindly requested to send in his application to the e-mail address of Foundation.
