About the foundation
‘Vis Maior’ Foundation has been helping disabled people since 2002. We focus especially on people who are losing sight and their families. ‘Vis Maior’ means ‘Higher Force’ (or: ‘force majeure’). This is the force that supports us, helps us overcome difficulties and that which is limited or seems impossible to overcome. One can draw energy from it, find support in it and trust it.
